The Banyamulenge people face challenges in understanding existing Bible translations in other languages. Translating the Bible into Kinyamulenge allows them to engage with Scripture in their heart language, fostering a deeper spiritual connection and cultural relevance.

3. Which books of the Bible have already been translated into Kinyamulenge?

 

The Gospel of Luke was completed and launched in January 2024. Work on the Book of Acts is underway, along with plans to translate the entire Bible into Kinyamulenge.

KBT uses a rigorous process that includes comparing multiple Bible editions in French, English, and Swahili, conducting individual translations, group discussions, and consulting with Hebrew and Greek language experts to ensure alignment with the original message of the Scriptures.
